• We respond to all new losses on the same day of report. Of course, claims specialists are always available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  
  
• If you face an immediate crisis, you will be contacted within one hour,regardless of time of day.
  
  
• Property damage is inspected within 48 hours of initial report.
  
  
• Payment of first-party claims will be made within 48 hours following satisfactory documentation of loss and agreement on damages.
  
  
• If a sentimental item is lost or stolen, we try to recover the item even after you’ve received settlement. 
  
  
  

• You are not required to have damaged items or property replaced. If you prefer, opt to receive a full cash settlement up to your policy limit with no depreciation.
  
  
• We can work with the repair resources of your choice, or you can select from our vast network of preferred contractors, auto repair facilities, art conservators and other experts.
  
  
• If you face liability litigation due to an incident covered on your homeowners’ or excess liability policy, you may choose your defense counsel from a panel of highly accredited law firms.
  
  
• If the incident is covered under your excess liability policy, you can also be reimbursed — up to $10,000 — for reasonable expenses incurred by involving your personal attorney.
